Early risers can get their coffee fix and morning news before the lavish full breakfast of popular selections is served daily from 8 to 10am. Our energizing breakfast includes a selection of cold cereal including our own homemade Acadia granola, fresh seasonal fruit, yogurt. Hot entrees change daily. An example for one day Aunt Doris' Downeast Quiche, Parmesan Tomatoes, Sausage and Wild Maine Blueberry Pancakes. Fresh blueberry muffins are made daily, as well as other various bakery creations, such as tea breads, scones, coffee cakes, etc., and always home-style bread and New York bagels for toasting. Some guests like to have their breakfast on the porch overlooking the ocean.

The large and comfortable Piano Room is the setting for Afternoon Tea with a gleaming sterling tea service. Each day there is a new creation by our own bakery chef. Will it be a lemon-lime mousse cake, a decadent chocolate layers cake with fresh strawberries or a Brazilian coconut bonbon cake? You will find yourself returning in time each day to experience a new creation. The ebony baby grand pianoforte plays a selection of musical favorites as refreshing summer breezes carry the ocean perfume through the handsome window coverings, making the Piano Room a favorite gathering spot at any time of day. The fireplace in the large Piano Room attracts guests to converse, read or just soak in the splendid surroundings. Cocktails are offered from four o'clock.

From the Living Room exit through French doors to the gracefully columned Veranda with its slowly whirring fans, overlooking the heated inground Pool, the meticulously groomed lawns, aromatic flower gardens, and the magnificent ocean view. The Veranda Bar presents a wide choice of libations; sample bartender Sergio's own alcoholic concoction "Sergio's Special" which is described as "similar to a blueberry daiquiri but with a little bit of a twist." The Pool lounge chairs are a favorite spot for lazily watching the cruise ships anchor out in Frenchman Bay, and the heated Pool is always inviting. Sink into a wicker chair on the porch or spread a blanket on the lawn and enjoy a romantic picnic.

Guests have full use of our Fitness Room, located in the converted carriage house, featuring premium exercise machinery, such as Gravitron, Stairmaster, Bicycle and free weights. Turndown service is offered nightly and the thoughtful staff does not forget the traditional Brazilian chocolate and brigadeiros created here by our chef to help guests usher in a incredibly restful night's sleep.
